WANT TO DANCE IN A PROFESSIONAL STAGE SHOW?
20 FREE WORKSHOP PLACES FOR LOCAL YOUNG DANCERS UP FOR GRABS!
As part of the Horsham District Year of Culture, the incredible international award-winning company Motionhouse will be performing Charge at The Capitol, Horsham on Tuesday 16 and Wednesday 17 April.
As a forerunner to this, The Capitol is offering up to 20 places for local young people to participate in a week-long workshop with Motionhouse during February half-term.
What they produce in this workshop will be performed onstage by the students at the start of the shows in April. This will act as a curtain raiser to the Charge show and The Capitol are inviting applications from local dance students to apply. Help with this is crucial as the Theatre wants to ensure that dancers from across Horsham District are given the opportunity to participate, but with places limited they are expecting it to be very popular.
They are looking for boys and girls aged 12 to 18 who are free to take part in the workshop and also perform onstage in April. The participation will be at no cost to applicants as the Horsham Year of Culture will be covering the fees involved.
Anyone who is interested should email [email protected] for an application form (and more details of the performance schedule and rehearsal times) as soon as possible as there is an application deadline of 2pm Wednesday 6 February.
