Horsham Writers Circle Horsham’s Edwardian Storytellers
Horsham’s Edwardian writers made quite a splash. The area gave the world some brilliant and successful authors such as: Cyril McNeill (the writer of the Bulldog Drummond adventure stories), EW Horning (who created Raffles, ‘The Gentleman Thief’), and Ford Maddox Ford, who wrote The Good Soldier and Parade’s End (recently made into a TV series).
Displays and lots of information about our early 20th Century literary talent will be in our libraries: Horsham, Billingshurst, Henfield, Pulborough, Southwater, Steyning and Storrington, and also on our website, throughout the month. Their writings will be available on the library shelves.
Horsham Writers Circle is a lively and friendly group of enthusiastic writers. We meet monthly to develop our writing skills and support members’ writing projects. If you’d like find out more, go to our website.
