Seofon Landscape Artist of the Year 2019
Seofon Business Services Ltd is launching the first Landscape Artist of the Year annual art contest – launching this September with finalists announced July 2019.
The finalists will be displayed at an exhibition a Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens.
This competition is an experience that is not to be missed, so why not you give it a go and paint, sketch or illustrate your own breath-taking landscape, (must be of a landscape in the Horsham District) in any medium of your choice, except photography.
Chris Cooper, who is one of the directors at Seofon, and also the chairman of the Billingshurst & Horsham Chamber of Commerce thought it would be a great idea to set up an annual artist competition for the residents of Horsham District, each year there will be a different theme.
This year the theme is landscapes of the Horsham District. This could be Horsham , Southwater, Slinfold, Pulborough or any other village and view in the Horsham District. A brilliant idea to bring the community together and for amateur artists to get their art seen by members of the public.
Make a day of it and head out in to the countryside and snap pictures of the exquisite scenery that surrounds us and try your best to recreate it in the most creative way possible.
Photographs of your art can be submitted via the Seofon website between 1st September 2018 and 31st July 2019, with a consent form (if under 16 years old) which you will be able to find when the contest has started, giving plenty of time for you all to perfect your skill. All members of the public of any age are welcome to participate.
All entries will be showcased on our Facebook page so make sure the photograph of your art is of a good quality.
