Local author, Seni Glaister will be talking and signing books at a special event for Horsham District Year of Culture at Horsham Library on Thursday 11th April.
Seni will be discussing her latest book, ‘Mr Doubler Begins Again,’ a mood-boosting and nostalgic celebration of food, friendship, kindness and second chances. Marian Keyes described it as “Simply charming” and Hello! Magazine described it as “perfect for fans of last year’s runaway bestseller Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine”
You may have heard West Sussex Libraries discussing this book as part of BBC Radio Sussex’ Monthly Book Club with Alison Ferns. You can hear the episode here, it begins an hour and ten minutes in.
As well as publishing two books, you may know Seni as the founder of We Find Food (WeFiFo.) WeFiFo is a platform which enables home cooks to connect to the thriving UK supper-club community and they have kindly hosted a number of Horsham District Year of Culture events.
Debbie Kennard, West Sussex County Council Cabinet Member for Safer, Stronger Communities, said: “Our libraries are wonderful spaces at the very heart of our communities. This is a really exciting opportunity to meet an acclaimed author and I would encourage residents to come along and make the most of the evening.”
The event starts at 7:30pm. Tickets £3.00 available from Horsham Library, Lower Tanbridge Way, RH12 1PJ. Tel: 01403 224353 / email: [email protected]
